Rally for Jeanette
This week, a beloved Colorado Immigrant Rights leader and activist, Jeanette Vizguerra, was detained by ICE in a blatant act of silencing and oppression. Today a Colorado District Court judge issued a temporary stay which orders the government not to move Jeanette while her case is pending with that court or the 10th circuit court. This is a victory, but doesn't free Jeanette from detention.
She has called for a weekly presence on Mondays. Please join our allies on Monday at 6pm outside GEO to mark a week of resistance and to strengthen the call for her freedom, and the freedom of all the people inside.
