From our friends at the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition (CIRC): SB 276 has passed two Senate committees, and is now heading to the final Senate vote this Monday, April 21 at 9:30 AM!
SB25-276 is a critical step in:
• Closing dangerous data-sharing loopholes that put immigrant communities at risk;
• Protecting constitutional rights at public places like schools, libraries, hospitals, and child care centers;
• Prohibiting ICE detainers without a signed judicial warrant
Join us to PACK THE SENATE gallery and show our collective power and support for immigrant families in Colorado! Please wear white in solidarity. Let’s stand together and push SB25-276 across the finish line in the Senate before it heads to the House.
Where: Senate Gallery, Colorado State Capitol
When: Monday, April 21
Time: Arrive by 9:30 AM for the Third Reading and Final Vote
Wear White in solidarity with immigrant families
