Get to know the 2018 Peacemaker of the Year Award Recipient: SONIA MARQUEZ

This award is being presented to Sonia Marquez for her accomplishments in grassroots organizing, uniting communities in the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition, building relationships, and inspiring her friends and family. Sonia became involved in her community at a young age, working with youth groups, community projects and learning about her culture and the importance of having a sense of belonging. Sonia has been involved with the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition (CIRC) since 2009.
