2/15 Call On Boulder City Council to Pass a Ceasefire Resolution!
Join us at the Boulder City Council meeting this Thursday, February 15th at 6:00pm, to call on the Boulder City Council to pass a resolution supporting a ceasefire in Gaza! We are now over 130 days into the devastation in Gaza, and so far, our community’s calls for a ceasefire resolution have gone unanswered.
At this meeting, the Councilmembers will be holding a discussion to confirm Council’s position to decline or accept moving forward with the consideration of a ceasefire resolution regarding the Israeli-Gaza conflict. It is crucial that we show up in numbers to show community support.
When: Thursday, February 15th, 6:00pm - 10:30pm (Public Comment will likely begin around 6:15 and is unlikely to go for more than an hour)
We are inviting the community to register to speak at Open Comment, and/or to show up to the Council meeting to stand in solidarity with keffiyehs, signs, and banners.
Registration for Open Comment closes TODAY, Wednesday 2/14 at 2pm.
We hope you will attend in solidarity even if you do not speak at Open Comment.
