Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center invites you to our rescheduled 2011 annual

Elise Boulding Peacemaker of the Year Awards Ceremony & Spring Celebration

This year’s Peacemaker of the Year Award recipients are:

Leslie Glustrom, Co-Founder and Director of Clean Energy Action, and an unstoppable, inspirational force astutely leading the movement for renewable energy for a sustainable world;

 

Renewables Yes! the powerful Team responsible for passage of the ballot measure allowing Boulder  to research and implement an effective array of renewable energy sources;

 

and the Boulder Earth Guardians who are working tirelessly and creatively to assure a sound and sustainable future for their generation and the generations to come.  Xiuhtezcatl Martinez, organizer and spokesperson extraordinaire for the Earth Guardians will accept their award.

 

The RMPJC Volunteer of the Year Award will be presented to Sue Mitrovic, an incredibly loyal and dedicated volunteer at RMPJC for many years.

 

The Award Presentations will begin promptly at 3:10, and will include music by Gary Erb , Xiuhetezcatl Martinez & the Earth Guardians, Elena Klaver and Linda Gore.

 

A reception will follow with more special music and a brief ceremony to honor close associates of the RMPJC who have recently passed away.

 

Special hot and cold vegan appetizers, cake, coffee and tea will be served.

 

The event will conclude with Elena Klaver and Linda Gore leading us all in singing Gary Ball's inspiring movement building song: "Roll River Roll".
