Tuesday, August 26  "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder".  7:45 p.m. at Capitol Heights Presbyterian Church, 11th and Fillmore, Denver. Fundraiser for Alliance for Real Democracy. $10-20

In "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder", Bugliosi sets forth an airtight legal case against George Bush that proves that Bush took this nation to war against Iraq under false pretenses, and that he is guilty of murder for the deaths of over 4,000 young American soldiers and over a million Iraqis. In his book, he sets forth  the overwhelming evidence of Bush's guilt and the jurisdiction to prosecute him. Bugliosi recently testified in Congress at hearings on Executive Power and Its Constitutional Limitations. During  his career at the LA County District Attorney's office, he successfully prosecuted 105 of 106 felony jury trials, including twenty-one murder convictions without a single loss.  His most famous trial, the Charles Manson case, became the basis of his classic book, Helter Skelter, the biggest selling true-crime book in publishing history. Two of his other books, And the Sea Will Tell and Outrage, also reached number one on the New York Times bestseller list.

Bugliosi was on Democracy Now! on June 13, 2008.
